In this region of the Andes, you’ll find glaciers, evergreen trees, deep blue lakes and clear skies everywhere you look. For a trip full of adventure and discovery, there are few better destinations on the planet.

No trip is complete without a visit to the craggy Mount Fitz Roy, the historic (and mysterious) Cave of the Hands, the Punta Tombo wildlife preserve, the Peninsula Valdes marine wildlife refuge and the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier. Be sure to bring your camera and your sense of wonder.

The town is named for W.S. Body (or Bodey), who discovered small amounts of gold in the hills north of Mono Lake. In 1875, a mine cave-in revealed a rich vein of ore, which led to purchase of the mine by the Standard Company in 1877. People flocked to Bodie and transformed it from a town of a few dozen to a boomtown. In 1881, Bodie's "bust" began and the town's population declined drastically. The town's population continued to decline until only a few remained. Mining officially ceased in Bodie in 1942, the final nail in the coffin for Bodie's township.  Two large fires in 1892 and 1932 reduced the town's remaining structures down to only 5% of the 2,000 structures that once stood.

Most people just think of Hawaii as a place to visit for beach vacations, but it is actually one of the most incredible destinations for landscape photography that we have ever been to. The Na Pali coast of Kauai is one of the most incredible landscapes I have ever encountered. The first time I saw them, I thought the jagged cliffs looked like they had been carved by the claws of dragons!

The Na Pali coastline features sheer, vertical cliffs covered in lush tropical greenery and a small collection of unspoiled white sand beaches accessible only by boat.
